1. Capital Market is the most popular avenue of investment. It is also an ideal hedge against inflation. But investment in capital market is a complex process and at times people burn their fingers. This happens due to low knowledge of investment technique and high expectations from the capital market. Investment is an art. This calls for training and knowledge and wisdom in investment. Lot of books are available in the market to enrich one’s knowledge but most of the books are complex, full of technical words and charts which cannot be easily understood by a common man. Hence, there is a need for a simple book which can be easily understood and followed. Awaken Your Investing Wisdom by Shri Kamal Singhi is one such book which is written in a very simple language-no lengthy charts-no complex vocabulary and no high sounding words. A boon for common investor in common language. It explains timing of entry and exit from market and principles to be followed in making investments. It contains a vow and if a person follows that vow only, he can mint money/avoid huge losses. The author has generously used the spiritual teachings of Swami Vivekananda as well as investment tactics of World renowned investment master Warren Buffett which can immensely guide the investing community to make wise decisions. All these make the book a jewel to be kept by every investor to awaken his investing wisdom. While complimenting the author for such a fine book I demand more such books by him in future for the welfare of investing community.
